PJ weekend

Something very rare happened this weekend!! I pretty much lived in my PJ's. Saturday was a great day of doing nothing. We have had a fire going non stop. It has been great. I got to take a 3 1/2 hour nap yesterday and then a 3 hour nap today after church. I love how Conner loves to take long naps. This should be the time where I should be cleaning, but really I need to take advantage of the situation. I can always clean later. I will probably be regretting these 2 longs naps come Monday around 1 or 2. Oh well... Friday night we went to HAttiesburg to do a little shoe shopping. I was hoping for me but we ended up getting Conner a new pair. Conner also got a couple of new shirts and Jody even got a shirt. Poor me did not get anything :( I think I deserve a little something so I'm thinking I will do a little internet shopping later on :) Had Bop's Friday night and it was so yummy!! It was Conner's first time eating there and I believe he loved it!! I have a feeling we will be eating there lots this Summer. Saturday, night we had Laredo Grill to go. I did leave the house to get this, so i did put on a more dressy pj set. We made homemade Chocolate chip cookies Saturday night and snickerdoodles tonight. I heart cookies:) ANyway, I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow but believe it will be a pretty good day. I did not do any sewing this weekend :( I was just too lazy. I do have some ideas and hope to do some sewing this week. Have a great week everyone!! Posting pictures soon I promise.

Productive Weekend!!

What a beautiful weekend!! WOW!! I love me some sunshine!!We had a very busy weekend full of birthdays, sewing, learning new things, family time, and sleeping! I finished my quilt topping this weekend (YAY!!)and took it to my grandmothers house so she could tell me what to do next. I'm so excited, she is letting me borrow her quilting table. I hope I can finsh quilting it in the next couple of weeks. She also gave me some awesome craft books and material!! I heart material. I almost like it as much as GAP.:) Anyway, my dad's bday was this weekend so we went and ate at Longhorns. Great food but not a good place for Conner to be for an 1 hour or longer. I also learned how to french braid my hair. My hair will probably stay braided from now on. I also sewed together a patchwork puppy pillow for Conner. It is sooo cute and of course Conner loves it! I had a great morning at Church. I have signed up for a couch to 5k training class. I hope I can stick with this. Saints are going to the Super Bowl!! And I have to say this... WHo DAT!! Anyway, I have to finish my work then to Hburg for a doctors appt. I'm not usually excited about going to the doctor but I am excited that I will be able to go to hobby lobby before!! Setting Goals

Happy Thursday to all!!! I have been in a slump the past couple of weeks, well actually months but I have come to realize that I can not let my job ruin my life! I have handed the slump over to God and I know he will protect and not give me more than I can handle. So today well actually Tuesday, I decided I need to set some project goals to get my mind off of work. PROJECT 1: My bathroom has to be remodeled by May!! I am getting down to business this weekend and gonna make this happen!! That means getting my husband to help me (that could be a chore)!! Another one of my goals is to finsh my quilt in the next couple of weeks and start on my new quilt which is going to be for my new nephew on the way! I have until April to finsh that one but April will actually be here before we know it. OMG!! I just started thinking about the months and I have 2 months to get ready for the flower beds! That is another goal. I always start on my flower beds but never finish. This year I will keep my flower beds up. Maybe Conner will be able to help me this year:) MOre to come when I get home and get Conner to bed :) MAybe even some pictures!!

I hate coldness!!

I am not a fan of cold weather!! MY hubby would love to move to Alaska one day but I just don't know if I could live in such frigid weather!! Anyway, I have not blogged in a while and figured it was time to start again. NOt much is going on in my life except alot of ling hours at work and being exhausted. Conner just turned 2!! YAY!! I can not believe my baby is 2 already. I feel like just yesterday we were leaving the hospital with him. I was scared then and still scared! But I seem to be doing okay as a mom. NO broken bones yet :) HE is full of life! I wish I had just a 8th of his energy. But he always makes me smile :) I have posted some pictures of whats been going on with our lives. hope you enjoy! well never mind... I just realized that my pictures are not on this computer. I will have to post pics at a later time. tootles!!
