Life has been busy. Not sure when everything is going to slow down but I am enjoying this crazy time in my life. My sister moved to Florida 2 weeks ago and I'm so exited. They spent the whole weekend in Taylorsville so I was able to spend some quality time with her and my baby Grayson!!
I have started back running in full swing. Well, I started and then twisted my ankle. I have had to lay off the running for about a week but I got to run a couple miles yesterday and it felt great!! I am going to push for 4 today and then on Thursday I will be running on the trace with some friends and hope for another 4 then. I have been running in my new newtons and they feel wonderful to my poor feet. NO BLISTERS!! I love the fact that people can see me running a mile away b/c of the bright colors!!
Anyway, I am trying to plan a nice little weekend get away for me and Jody for our aniversary coming up in September. I am on a budget so nothing too expensive. Maybe even for just Saturday night. I was thinking maybe New Orleans, Natchez, Gulf Shores??? If anyone has any ideas, please fell free to comment!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Destin trip...

I think I have spent over half of my summer at the beach!! I have defiantly been a beach bum this summer along with Conner and Jody. We got to spend 4 nights in Destin with Jody's mom, dad, and sister. We have a great time and wish we did not have to come home, but we do have to make a living also. We have great weather and got lots of sun. Conner decided to sleep late every night we were there which is unlike him but I was not going to complain. I needed the extra rest!! Conner was great on the trip! While we were there, we took Conner to build a bear and he got to pick out and create his own bear. He loved doing this and it was so funny watching him decide. We also got plenty of smoothies while on vacation and ran everyday except for one very lazy day. And when I say run I mean running at 3 o'clock in the afternoon when its about 110 degrees outside and under severe heat advisories!! Yes, I know I'm crazy but I had my awesome running partner with me, (Sisnlaw) so we made the best out of the situations and made it fun!! The food was awesome as always and we had a couple of shopping trips while there as well. The condo we stayed out was awesome and we felt like we were living in luxury for  a couple of days. I love taking family trips with mine and Jody's family. I love the time we get to share together and memories we make!! Can't wait for the next!! Here are a couple of pics from our trip :)
